This Privacy Policy explains how TechniDox and Aortem collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use TechniDox websites, products, communications, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information, such as name, email address, organization, role, and authentication details.
  • Usage information, such as pages viewed, product actions, feature interactions, diagnostics, logs, device data, and approximate location from IP address.
  • Customer Content, such as documentation, repository metadata, prompts, review comments, workflow configuration, and files you choose to process through TechniDox.
  • Communications, such as demo requests, support messages, feedback, survey responses, and marketing preferences.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, secure, operate, maintain, and improve TechniDox.
  • Generate documentation, quality scores, routing suggestions, analytics, and other requested product outputs.
  • Authenticate users, manage accounts, process billing, provide support, and communicate service updates.
  • Monitor performance, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Send product, marketing, and event communications where permitted by law and your preferences.

3. AI and Product Improvement

We may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information to understand product performance and improve TechniDox. Where customer agreements restrict training or product improvement use, those written terms control.

4. How We Share Information

  • With service providers that support hosting, analytics, security, communications, support, payments, and operations.
  • With integrations you authorize, such as repositories, identity providers, workflow tools, or communication platforms.
  • Within the Aortem product ecosystem for administration, security, support, and product operations.
  • If required by law, legal process, security investigation, corporate transaction, or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.

5. Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. We retain information for as long as needed to provide TechniDox, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.
